Summary
Current research seminars in cancer sciences presented online and covering a range of topics at the forefront of work in this area, and demonstrating different approaches to orally presenting work.
Review articles and primary papers from the current scientific literature related to the research seminars.
In this module the student will produce a report on their full-time research placement in the form of a short oral presentation.

Honours students (Cancer Science students only).

Classes
- One 1-hour tutorial each week for 2 weeks
- One 1-hour seminar each week for 15 weeks
Online research seminars (15 hours) Online question and answer sessions (2 X 1 hour group session) Self-directed study
Assessment
- 70% Coursework 1: 2 X 500-word abstracts each summarising the contents of a research seminar
- 30% Presentation 1: 1 x 10 minute presentation with an update of their research placement
