Summary
This module entails a demonstration of scholarship within the field of supporting teaching and learning in higher education. Building on previous programme modules, this module allows participants to undertake a form of inquiry making full use of the knowledge and understanding already gained. Created to be responsive to the diverse needs of students, their individual contexts and interests, participants will be able to select a specific pathway or strand of activity that allows them to explore an aspect of their practice in depth.
Target Students
Available to students on the PG Cert Higher Education Global Programme and who have studied/are studying EDUC4321 Teaching and Supporting Learning and EDUC4322 Course Design.

This module aims to provide you with opportunities to conduct an independent educational inquiry to support an understanding of an aspect of teaching and/or learning within higher education.Learning Outcomes

Undertake an independent educational inquiry to enhance an aspect of learning and/or teaching in HE
Display critical judgement in the selection and use of literature and other sources to create an evidence informed output
Evidence an understanding of the relationship between scholarship and practice
Demonstrate effective communication and skilfully applied academic skills
