Summary

This module continues the introduction to Latin begun in CLAR 1001 [Beginners' Latin: 1]. Study of the structure of the language continues, and reading skills are further developed until almost unadapted passages from Latin texts are read.
Any reassessment for this module will be by essay or assignment.

Target Students

Available to all Undergraduate level 1 students in the Department of Classics and Archaeology including Liberal Arts, exchange and subsidiary students.CLAR1002 and CLAR1001 should be taken as a pair, but if there is a valid reason why you are unable to enrol for one or other of these modules, please contact Nicholas Wilshere, the departmental Language Teaching Co-ordinator, to discuss your options.
