Summary

This Case-based Discussion assessment will assess the student’s ability to apply and demonstrate their knowledge and skills to a patient case, focussed on the learning from the Patient Care 2 Teaching block.

Target Students

Only available for students studying MPharm only (BOTH 4 and 5 year long versions) AND only available for UNUK/Level '04' students.

Learning Outcomes

• Appraise the evidence base and apply clinical reasoning and professional judgement to make safe and logical decisions which minimise risk and optimise outcomes for the person

• Understand clinical governance in relation to prescribing, while also considering that the prescriber may be in a position to supply the prescribed medicines to people
