Educational Aims

This module provides the basic information on the structures and processes of life, which includes how the specialised cells help in physiological systems and how physiological systems are linked to the regulation, coordination and defence in living organisms.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this module, students will be able to:
CLO1 - Describe and distinguish mamallian systems and their functions.     
CLO2 - Explain the importance of the regulation of the internal environment.   
CLO3 - Apply the relevant concepts to solve biological problems.
