Educational Aims
This module will enable students to study the fundamental concepts of algebra. The topics covered are fundamental concepts of algebra, equations and inequalities, functions and graphs, remainder and factor theorem, system of equations and partial fraction.Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module, students will be able to:
CLO1 - Describe and explain the fundamental concepts of algebra.
CLO2 - Rewrite the algebraic expressions in the simplest form to solve problems.
CLO3 - Distinguish and construct various graphs.
CLO4 - Analyse and apply the fundamental concepts of algebra to solve application problems.
