Summary

This course aims to introduce the broad concepts of business management skills and initiative lead learning objective setting/achievement. The student is facilitated in identifying relevant business management knowledge needs by working in a small group to develop a business proposal and business plan. i.e. private practise, bidding for both commissioned services and public service departmental development. The rationale for the skills required is explored in light of current NHS health, social enterprise initiatives and the private practitioner.
