Summary
Data Science and machine learningis a rapidly growing multidisciplinary field. The use of information technology in healthcare expands along with the complexity of medication management in the treatment and prevention of diseases are increasing. Hence, pharmacists are expected to lead manage and evaluate the concepts of data science in their practice. Pharmacists knowledge of medications, building disease prediction model concepts provides the framework for clinical information systems. This module aims to introduce data science and machine learning for undergraduate pharmacy students, focussing on knowledge data analysis, basics of python, applying regression model, and decision tree in machine learning model.
