Summary
In each year of the MPharm there is a professional competencies module.
All of the competencies required by a Pharmacy graduate are taught in credit bearing modules.
The Professional Competencies modules are a mechanism for School to confirm that key elements of the course have been assessed and passed.
These are zero-credit modules that do not contribute to the marks of students.
However, it is a requirement of progression to years 2, 3 and 4 and to graduation that these modules are passed with a mark of 100%.
In Year 4 the Professional Competency modules are used to monitor that you have personally attained the expected level in all of the GPhC
Learning Outcomes as set out in Standards for the initial education and training of pharmacists 2021.
You must provide evidence for each and every learning outcome to pass the module.
