Summary
This course will require students to work on a project designed to advance patient safety through improvement within their specialist area. The project can take a number of forms, including:
- Report on quality improvement project in a healthcare context;
- Protocol for a quality improvement project in a healthcare context.
Target Students
Students on the MSc Quality and Patient Safety Improvement.
Classes
The course will comprise 60 hours tutor led taught sessions and 540 hours self-directed study and tutorial support.
Assessment
- 100% Project: Students must choose Either:An in-depth protocol for a quality improvement project (up to 12,000 words)ORA report of a quality improvement project (up to 12,000 words)
