Educational Aims

This course aims to examine the implementation of health improvement activities by utilising contemporary research and evidence in order to address critical health issues in populations

Learning Outcomes

Examine contemporary research and evidence to assess critical health issues with a chosen population

Discuss the use of individual, workplace and community health improvement models to structure health improvement activities

Devise a proposed plan for implementation to address critical health issues, taking into account relevant stakeholders, methods and resources

Demonstrate appropriate decision making skills, including any ethical and legal considerations

Explore evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness of health improvement plans
