Summary
Students will be expected to work under supervision on a dissertation of their choice related to their subject area. Students’ research work will be supported by their allocated supervisors.
In regard to the thesis, the maximum word length of the thesis is dependent on the credit size of the thesis and the following apply:
§ 120 credits – 25,000
The maximum word limit is inclusive of appendices, footnotes, tables but not the bibliography. The Thesis should embody the result of the candidate’s advanced study and research.

Examine and evaluate within human geography
Apply the analytical skills necessary to formulate specific research questions, develop appropriate methodological approaches and consider relevant ethical issues
