The module will examine and explore:

2. Mapping the approach of sustainable development
3. The Challenges of sustainable development
4. Actors and actions in sustainable development
5. Sustainable rural and urban livelihoods
6. State of sustainable development in developing world
7. A framework of sustainable development
Target Students
Available to Environmental Science Students (school of Bioscience) but not restricted to them. Available to JYA/Erasmus students.

- 50% Coursework 1: One 3,000 word group essay
- 50% Exam 1 (1-hour): One 1 hour examination
