Summary
Arguably the most important subdiscipline for the understanding of language teaching is SLA; therefore, this module will focus on this area to ensure that students have a sound understanding of how language is learned.
Target Students
Only available to on-site postgraduate students in the School of English.
Classes
- One 2-hour workshop each week for 11 weeks
Sessions will include discussion of material which supplements the required readings, and activities which explore the issues of SLA, including interpreting research data.
Assessment
- 100% Coursework: Research proposal of 3,500 words

Educational Aims
