Target Students

Teaching, Training and Technology (TTT) module has been designed specifically to meet the needs of Master Trainers on the Bangladesh College Education Development Project (BCEDP)

Educational Aims

This module aims to develop students’ critical understanding of key issues in teaching and training, and the use of technology in both of these activities.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge and understanding - outcomes which describe broadly the subject matter of the programme/module

 

Knowledge of theories concerning, and empirical research into, effective teaching strategies, including differentiation, groupwork, questioning strategies, interactive lecturing and inquiry-based learning. 

A critical understanding of learner-centred approaches to teaching. 

An understanding of effective strategies in training, mentoring and coaching. 

An understanding of the development of educational technologies over the past 20 years. 

Knowledge of how ICT can be integrated into the teaching of learning of a particular subject at college level. 

A critical awareness of the uses and limitations of current educational applications.
