Summary
The module will cover topics in advanced microeconomics, decision theory and general equilibrium. While the precise content may vary from year to year, the module will start from the basis established in ECON2028.
ECON2028 Microeconomic Theory is the prerequisite for this module.
Note: This module is assessed at the end of Spring semester. First sit/ Re-sit exams are scheduled normally in the summer and can take the same form as the missing/ failed component of the assessment (exam, essay etc.) or other form, as decided by the school.

- One 2-hour lecture
- Two 2-hour lectures each week for 8 weeks
Assessment
- 100% Exam 1 (2-hour): 2 hours exam

Educational Aims
This module aims to provide the students with a deep and rigorous understanding of microeconomic theory. It will concentrate on decision theory and general equilibrium and will allow students to build on their prior knowledge of microeconomics.Learning Outcomes
