Summary
Managing Innovation and Entrepreneurship explores the importance of entrepreneurial change and innovation in organisations. It will also introduce to students the drivers of change in business environment and learn from the existing disruptive innovation strategies adopted by firms. This module also makes students learn the importance of innovation culture within an organisation. Students learn to evaluate the capability of organisations for entrepreneurial change through innovation.
Target Students
Only available for students registered on taught postgraduate programmes in FASS.
Classes
- Two 2-hour lectures each week for 11 weeks
11 x 4 hours lectures (2hours x 2 per week) and group teaching, comprising case studies, exercises and group presentations.
Assessment
- 100% Coursework: 3000-word essay
Assessed by end of spring semester
