Summary
This module focuses on the use of financing, investment and financial accounting decision making for non-financial managers. It aims to provide non-financial managers with an understanding of the terms and techniques of finance and accounting so they may communicate more easily with and understand financial reports. It brings together the business finance environment, investment, financing and financial accounting decisions.
Target Students
Only available for students registered on the MSc in Business with specialisation in:• International Management• Talent Management• Entrepreneurship• Corporate Finance• Strategic Leadership
Classes
- Two 2-hour lectures each week for 11 weeks
11 x 4 hours lectures (2 hours x 2 per week) and group teaching, comprising case studies, exercises and group presentations.
Assessment
- 30% Coursework: Group Coursework 2500 words
- 70% Exam (2-hour): 2 Hour Examination
