Target Students
Business School MSc students subject to compliance with module choice requirements, as listed in the degree programme specification. In addition, other MA/MSc students subject to the discretion of the Director of MSc Programmes
Classes
- One 2-hour seminar each week for 2 weeks
- One 2-hour lecture each week for 11 weeks
22 hours lectures, 2 hour exercise classes, 35 hours private study, 16 hours group coursework, 25 hours preparation and revision for examination
Assessment
- 30% Coursework1: 2,500 word group report
- 70% Exam 1 (2-hour): Two hour exam
Educational Aims
The module introduces fundamental concepts in project management. Students will gain understanding of the scope and variety of project types, understand key variables in project management and learn methods, techniques and approaches that are important in successfully managing projects to meet objectives in a wide range of contexts.Learning Outcomes
