BUSI2107 Introductory Econometrics OR BUSI2187 Principles of Econometrics

The module will provide an introduction to econometric techniques for modelling data. Topics to be covered include panel data modelling (difference-in-difference models; regression discontinuity designs; experiments), qualitative response models and time series models.
Classes
- One 1-hour-30-minute workshop each week for 4 weeks
- One 1-hour-30-minute lecture each week for 9 weeks
10 one-hour Lectures and 4 one-hour small group computer workshops
Assessment
- 100% Exam 1 (1-hour-30-minute): 1.5 hours examination
