Summary
The module addresses the application of financial reporting principles in preparing financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards for a range of transactions and economic events. This module also develops student’s understanding of the role of external audit, and audit theory and practice.
Target Students
Available to Y2 or Y3 undergraduate students who have taken BUSI1093/BUSI1113/BUSI1103 Fundamentals of Financial and Management Accounting OR BUSI1009 Financial Accounting. Also available to Exchange students

Classes
- One 1-hour seminar each week for 4 weeks
- Two 1-hour-30-minute lectures each week for 11 weeks
Assessment
- 100% Exam (3-hour): Exam (ICAEW accredited). Section A (one mandatory question weighting 40%), Section B (two questions from Optional 4 Questions, weighting 60% in total).Reassessment of this module is 100% exam.
