Summary
The module explores the nature of work and society through a broadly sociological approach. The module considers key schools of thought which articulate important connections between work and society. Contemporary issues in work and society are examined.
Target Students
Qualifying Year Business School and Qualifying Year BA Geography with Business and Qualifying Year BA Modern Languages with Business students. Also available to Business School Exchange students.
Classes
- One 1-hour seminar
- Two 1-hour lectures each week for 10 weeks
20 one-hour lectures and 1 one-hour seminar.
Assessment
- 100% Coursework: 2,500 words
