Summary
This module is compulsory for Environmental Science, Environmental Biology and Plant Biology undergraduates. It is spread across the autumn and spring semester of year one. The module is taught using a mixture of lectures, laboratory and computer practical sessions alongside tutorials. Module topics include key field and lab techniques, scientific writing, data analysis, data presentation and referencing skills.
Target Students
Available to BSc/MSci Environmental Science, BSc/MSci Environmental Biology BSc/MSci Plant Biology and BSc Hons Agricultural Business Management students.

- 50% Coursework 1: A field and lab note book (50%) in Autumn
- 50% Coursework 2: A 1000 word report (50%) in the Spring
